The environment minister declares that households and students would receive one million saplings
One million seedlings of different kinds will be given away for free to students and residents of Kampot province so they can plant them to improve the green spaces in their homes, pagodas, schools, and towns. During the campaign to stop using plastic on Sunday, November 19, 2023, His Excellency the Minister of the Environment made this declaration in front of over 130,000 teachers and students from 438 schools in the province of Kampot.
